Audrey Mondjehi, the main defendant in the trial for the attack on the Strasbourg Christmas market in 2018, was sentenced in the evening to 30 years in prison. Two thirds of the sentence to be served in maximum security, for having aided the jihadis.

The accused, 42 years old, was found guilty of terrorist conspiracy, due to his "close proximity" to the attacker, and because "he was aware of (his) violent radicalisation", declared the president of the Court of Assizes of Paris.
