The 30th edition of the Vesoul International Festival of Asian Cinema closed on Tuesday. 90 films, from 29 countries from the Near to the Far East, were selected.

The Grand Jury Prize was awarded to Scream, by Kazakh director Kenzhebek Shaikakov. Scream contains “a style of magical realism that is truly captivating,” according to the jury. The next edition will be held from February 11 to 18, 2025, and will be hosted by Taiwan. The jury described The Snow Leopard as a “ rare gem”
