A glass scraper makes it easy to remove stubborn dirt from smooth surfaces. Bird droppings, paint splashes and window pictures are thus removed.
The scrapers can be bought at drugstores, online or in the supermarket. Some scrapers have a large blade, which should rather be used for less adherent dirt. To loosen solidly dried dirt, pressure must be applied. This is better possible with smaller blades, as the pressure is exerted on a small area. Depending on the application (such as removing bird droppings), the blades should be replaced.
