The Capodimonte museum has accepted that its most beautiful works will be presented alongside those of the Grande Galerie of the Parisian museum. The Death of the Virgin by Caravaggio will be next to his monumental Flagellation.

The portrait of the elegant courtier Galeazzo Sanvitale by the Parmesan (1524) will sympathize with that of his similarly bearded fellow. We will have more Raphael with our Raphael, more Titian with our Titian (including his Danaé, which is one of his most beautiful nudes)
