Consumer and business confidence rises in January. In January 2024, an overall improvement in the opinion climate of economic operators is estimated.
This was communicated by Istat, specifying that business confidence increases for the second consecutive month. Consumer confidence has grown, without interruption, since last November and reaches the highest level since June 2023, according to Istat. The consumer confidence climate index increases from 95.8 to 96.4 and the composite indicator of business confidence climate rises from 97.3 at 98.1.
