Italy reached the podium on the last day of the men's curling world championship, confirming in Schaffhausen (Switzerland) the bronze it had won two years ago in Las Vegas, in the United States. The team made up of Sebastiano Arman, Mattia Giovannella, AmosMosaner, Joel Retornaz and Francesco De Zanna, beat Sweden 7-6 in the match for third place.

The ninth and final fraction was decisive for the Azzurri.
