Gérard Barray, who played d'Artagnan in The Three Musketeers, has died in Marbella, Spain. He was born on November 2, 1931 in Toulouse, and died at the age of 92.

His career faltered at the same time as the success of swashbuckling films. After a major role in Le Témoin d'Anne Walter, he moved away from the big screen. He nevertheless made a few appearances in films such as Le cinéma de papa (1970) by Claude Berri.
