The German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) reports that mild cognitive impairments can be detected with high accuracy using special test tasks on the smartphone. The study also showed that people are capable of carrying out tests on their own. However, the researchers do not define to what extent the tests could be used for self-diagnosis.
