A woman reported having been scammed after purchasing mosquito repellent through Marketplace, the sales site on the social network Facebook. The victim transferred $130,000, but never received the product.
The event occurred in Córdoba, in the midst of a record wave of dengue in the country, and the lack of stock of repellents. The fraud complaint was made last Friday in D.D. 1, the District 1 Prosecutor's Office of that province was given intervention in the case.
