36,682 new cases and another 36 deaths from dengue were registered in Argentina. The data comes from the epidemiological bulletin published this Sunday by the Ministry of Health of the Nation.

Of that total, the vast majority of cases correspond to this year: 252,566 occurred as of January 1, 2024. In 93 deceased cases, comorbidities were recorded, the most frequent being: diabetes, heart disease, obesity, chronic neurological disease and chronic renal failure. So far, 19 deaths have been detected due to DEN-1 and 48 due toDEN-2, while in another 130 the subtype of the disease that caused it could not yet be identified.
