Despite his desire for reconciliation, Charles III would be “firmly decided” not to bring Harry back into the monarchy. Claims that his youngest son could take over part of his royal duties would therefore be erroneous.

This update comes after speculation increased this weekend. The Times notably affirmed that Prince Harry was ready to resume a “temporary royal role” to support his father during his illness. However, according to sources close to the Crown, Charles, the Prince of Wales and the rest of the Windsor clan are “completely in agreement” that the conditions of the “Sandringham summit” should be maintained.
