Director Paolo Taviani died in Rome - last hour. He passed away close to his wife Lina Nerli Taviani and his children Ermanno and Valentina.
The secular funeral ceremony will be held on Monday 4 March at the Promototeca del Campidoglio from 10am to 1pm. Born in San Miniato on 8 November 1931, together with his brother Vittorio, who passed away on 15 April 2018, he came to Rome from Tuscany in the 1950s where they became a of the closest couples in cinema.
