Giampaolo Amato, the 64-year-old doctor accused by the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Carabinieri of Bologna of killing on October 31, 2021. Amato could commit other crimes, "jealousy or revenge", against the other woman with whom he had a relationship or sister-in-law, according to the Review of the Court of Freedom.

The Review said Amato "coldly organized a murder that was going to be 'the perfect crime'".
