Two fishermen accidentally caught a shark at Hadera beach. They tried to pull the hook out of his mouth and put him back in the water.

Every winter there is a phenomenon of sharks clustering around the cooling water outlet of the coastal power plants in the Israeli Mediterranean Sea. Sharks are declared in Israel as a protected nature value and therefore do not suffer from their targeted fishing and are not the target for the fishermen there. The SeaWatch application of the Society for the Protection of Nature is designed to streamline and strengthen law enforcement and hazard prevention.
