Pope Francis, 87, presided over the Vatican's Easter Vigil on Saturday evening, despite renewed concerns over his health. The cancellation on Friday of the pope's visit to the Stations of the Cross at the Colosseum had raised new fears about his state of health.

Pope Francis will preside over Easter Mass on Sunday at 10 a.m., before giving the “Urbi et Orbi” blessing from the famous balcony of Saint Peter's Basilica. At noon the next day, he will recite the Marian prayer of the Regina Coeli, again from St. Peter's Square.
