Federalberghi, 9 million Italians on holiday in the snow - last minute. Of these, 6.5 million went on a skiing holiday, while 2.4 million chose to concentrate their holidays on weekends.
The turnover will be equal to 6.1 billion euros, of which 4.3 billion are for ski weeks. For one-week holidays, 95.5% remain in Italy with 72.6% going to the northern regions and only 22.9% to the central-southern ones.
