Initial indications that the residues could possibly come from sunscreen. Sunscreen that was manufactured in the EU years ago could still contain the plasticizers. So consumers can avoid sunscreens that are listed as affected and avoid them if they are in a larger number of products in the market, says toxicologist Dr. Marike Kolossa-Gehring.
