The body of the last person missing on the construction site in Via Mariti in Florence was reached and recovered by the firefighters before midnight. A Misericordia hearse took the remains to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Careggi where there are the bodies of the other four workers who died in the collapse on 16 February.
The remains will be handed over to the judicial authority for identification and recognition. The body was found by firefighters in the early hours of Saturday morning. The site was under construction at the time of the collapse.
