South Korea coach Jurgen Klinsmann has been sacked. The Korean Football Federation (KFA) announced this today.
It follows the recent elimination of the national team in the semi-finals of the Asian Cup. The German coach had been in charge for just under a year at the helm of theAsian team. The South Korean national team, one of the big favorites for the Asian World Cup, was surprisingly eliminated in semi-final by Jordan 2-0. The KFA decided to change direction before the qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup.
