Guillaume Canet plays one of the main roles in Benoît Jacquot’s new film Belle. The 50-year-old actor believes that defending this film would be “a way of condoning” the rapes of which the director is accused.

He also claims not to know the release date of the feature film. The film is an adaptation of the novel La Mort de Belle, written by Georges Simenon, in 1951. Judith Godrèche is among the latest to have testified.
