For the first time, an Argentine province will charge foreigners $170,000 a day to use public hospitals. "We are doing what they do with our inhabitants," the former Secretary of Health of the governor of Salta, Gustavo Saenz, justified to Clarín.

Other provinces could do the same. In Salta they admit Kirchnerism never allowed taking this type of measures "due to its alignment with Evo Morales". The measure, which had been advanced by the provincial Minister of Health, Federico Mangione, was made official.
