Frédéric Mitterrand's three sons Mathieu, Jihed and Saïd gathered for his funeral. The former minister was an openly homosexual and had a natural son in 1981, whom he raised as a single father.
From their father, the two boys inherited the name “Mitterrand”, even if they kept their first family name: Kasmi forSaïd, and Gasmi for Jihed. The funeral took place on Tuesday, March 26 at the Saint-Thomas d'Aquin church.
