French master ceramicist Georges Pelletier dies at the age of 85. The artist, whose works are exhibited in dedicated galleries in New York, Shanghai and Los Angeles, died of cardiac arrest in February.

“His work will continue to inspire and amaze, notably thanks to to the artistic legacy he leaves to his son Benjamin,” the family said in a press release. Born in Belgium, this graduate of the National School of Applied Arts and Crafts in Paris moved to France in 1961.
