Yoel Peralta is the current Latin and South American champion of the World Boxing Council and the International Boxing Federation. The 28-year-old lives in Tortuguitas, Argentina, with his family and works as a waste collector until noon.

He trains double shifts in the evening and has his own gym. "I inherited the work culture from the family and that's not letting me be even achieving my greatest goals," he says. He started as a picker at the age of 18, fulfilling a three-month contract but went on to become a professional boxer.
