A magnitude 4.5 earthquake was recorded at 00:59 local time (11:59 pm yesterday in Italy) in western Greece. The earthquake had its hypocenter at a depth of 29 kilometers and its epicenter in the Aetolia-Acarnania region.

There is currently no information on any damage to persons or property. The quake was also felt in Calabria and Puglia, according to data from the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV)
