The "Puglia Green Hydrogen Valley" project has been selected for an Ipcei (Important Projects of Common European Interest) loan amounting to a maximum amount of 370 million euros. The initiative of EdisonNext, Saipem and Sosteneo is one of the first for the large-scale production of green hydrogen in Europe.
Puglia GreenHydrogen Valley is one the three Italian projects to have been awarded funding. Member States will provide up to €6.9 billion in public funding, the highest amount of aid approved so far for IPCEIs in the hydrogen field.
