Hafsia Herzi plays Mélissa, a prison guard accused of complicity in a double assassination in Corsica. The actress is nominated for the Césars for Le Rapissement and expected alongside Isabelle Huppert in the next films by André Téchiné and Patricia Mazuy.

Herzi: I admired the cinema of Stéphane Demoustier, whose The Girl with the Bracelet I loved, and I saw in the ambiguous and more adult character that he offered me a new artistic challenge. She says: "I tried to offer characters that French women from different backgrounds could identify with. There is a quest for truth in this director's cinema that we also find in your films...  I am not tyrannical: like my character, I have to be respected, but I like to work with kindness" She adds: "As a child, I already wanted to direct, but when I started touring, I was so happy that I put that dream aside and then understood that I was the face of a cinema woman"
