Agnès Naudin evoked three ongoing cases in a book, revealing "too many details" to identify the people. The 39-year-old police officer, who has written several books, said she had sought the agreement of those involved, changing the names and places where the crime was committed.
The Public Prosecutor's Office had requested a permanent ban on him as a police officer and a three-month suspended prison sentence. If Ms. Naud in is put back into service, she can still write about ongoing cases, the prosecutor said.
