The Israel Lands Council approved a series of decisions last night (Wed), including housing benefits for reservists. The benefits offer to increase to 20% the priority that reservists receive in discounted housing programs, and a 90% discount in the purchase of land for self-construction.
Unusually, Netanyahu participated in the meeting and announced the granting of housing benefits. The Prime Minister put pressure on the council to approve this proposal, and was also the one who announced its approval.
