A man died when he was mauled by some Rottweilers while he was jogging near the Manziana park, near Rome. He was found on the ground around 8.30am.
The rescue was useless. From initial information, the dogs, perhaps three, may have escaped from a home. They were shot with sedatives by park rangers, veterinarians and dog catchers also equipped with rifles with sedative. The man died at the scene in Manziana, a suburb of Rome.
