Hedvig Wessel won the Freeride World Tour for the first time on March 22. The Norwegian has been competing in the discipline for 16 years.
Wessel says she has learned something about herself every year. “The older you get, the more years of skiing you have under your belt, the better you know your limits,” she says. The 24-year-old plans to compete in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Sochi, but not in Pyeongchang.
