A helicopter crashed this morning on the north face of Petit Combin, in the Swiss Alps. Rescuers are working on site with huge resources, including seven helicopters.
The Canton of Valais police has not yet provided further information to the Swiss media. It would be an aircraft used for heli-skiing - the practice of off-piste skiing using a helicopter as a means of ascent - capable of transporting five people and the pilot, according to Swiss newspaper 'Le Nouvelliste'
