Helicopter rescue crashes on Monte Rosa, everyone safe - last hour. All occupants escaped unharmed.
Helicopter rescue services from Aosta and Airzermatt intervened in the area. The takeoff took place after a person was reported to have fallen into a crevasse in an area bordering Switzerland. The person, already extracted, is alive. The aircraft crashed for reasons to be ascertained, it is not yet known if anyone was injured in the crash. The Valdossola mountain rescue team was pre-alerted.
