When fully operational, the project will involve 6,993 post offices throughout Italy. "Polis" will be remembered as a fundamental piece of the country's progress, especially in the relationship between public administration and private companies", says the president of Poste Italiane, Silvia Maria Rovere. The president also underlined the "great contribution to the green transaction" thanks to the reduction of emissions.
