For the first time in the history of Buenos Aires Justice, the owner of a dog breeder was convicted of animal cruelty. The sentence was 8 months in suspended prison and a series of behavioral guidelines were imposed for two years.

17 dogs were found, including 3 puppies, in a situation of extreme vulnerability given that they were in deplorable hygienic conditions. The rescued animals were taken in by the NGOs Callejeros casa Quiero, Red 4patas and Ayudacan, and then were handed over for responsible adoption.
