Air Montenegro will operate direct flights between Tel Aviv and Podgorica, the capital. The flights are mainly intended for Israeli tourists visiting the country.

Last year the record of Israeli tourists who visited Montenegro was broken and stood at 80 thousand people. "We are trying to maintain the flow of visitors from Israel," says Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Israel Nimrod Renaud, Honorary Minister of Tourism of the Montenegrin Republic. The airline is competing with Isherair, Arkia and Sun D'Or, which operate routes between the two countries.
