In 2023, deaths at work will decrease and pathologies will increase. Reports of accidents at work presented to INAIL between January and December 2023 were 585,356 (-16.1% compared to 2022), of which 1,041 were fatal (-4.5%).
There was an increase in reported occupational diseases, which amounted to 72,754 (+19.7%). The Institute communicates this, explaining that in 2023 there was a marked reduction in overall injury reports, almost exclusively due to lower incidence of Covid contagion cases.
