Bysco, based in Ille-et-Vilaine (Brittany), sees in the byssus, these filaments which connect the mussels to the rocks, a natural material. Jules Verne already offered him a second life in 1870.

“I first worked on spider silk, and as I come from the bay of Mont Saint-Michel where mussels are cultivated, I became interested in byssu,” explains Robin Maquet.
