The Court of Auditors examines this subject in particular in its annual report on public policies. This document, the culmination of the financial jurisdiction's action, has been submitted to parliamentarians every year since 1832.

This year it will have 725 pages, compared to 572 pages last year, and has twice as many chapters as in 2023. After the usual first chapter dealing with “all public finances at the end of February 2024”, its report focuses in detail on the adaptation of public action to climate change.
