For its fourth edition, the crime film festival offered surprises and disappointments. The grand prize was awarded to Highway 65.

Spectators were treated to their share of severed fingers, point-blank gunshots, handcuffed thugs, and torn teeth and nails. The selection was therefore bloody, eclectic, international, with its procession of surprises. It was once again verified that evil had no borders. The festivities begin with LaRoy, by Shane Atkinson, a brilliant variation on adultery and its unfortunate consequences which evoked the first films of the Coen brothers. The festival runs until Sunday, September 14. For more information, visit the festival's website or go to www.reims-polar.com. For the latest from Reims, go to the official website.
