[HIGHLIGHTS] In senior residences, many offences detected by the repression of fraud

Fraud prevention issued 71 warnings, 32 compliance orders and one criminal report. In total, of the 256 residences checked, 40% were in violation.

The majority of senior homes have rectified, according to the DGCCRF. The penalties to which the person responsible is exposed can range from fines of several hundred thousand euros up to two years in prison. The decision rests with the Public Prosecutor's Office, to which a file has been transmitted. The DGCC RF invites seniors to report problems on the SignalConso website.
