Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez launched a new support scheme for cinemas on Sunday. It will allow the over 65s to attend a session every Tuesday for two euros.
Part of the funds will be allocated directly to cinemas, which have been hit hard during the Covid-19 pandemic. This new project is introduced one year after Pedro Sánchez's government launched a cultural voucher programme for young people. The France has already set up a similar program at the end of the health crisis to revive culture.
