The sums at stake are estimated at 800 million dollars for the Powerball, while the Mega Millions jackpot is $1.1 billion. Despite figures that are dizzying, the winnings put into play are not yet up to the standards of the genre. The Powerball alone had posted a winnings of 2.04 billion dollars (1.88 billion euros ) in November 2022.
