Istat, in February the employment rate rises to 61.9% - Breaking news. In February, after the decline recorded in January, employment returned to growth due to the increase in permanent employees which reached 15 million 969 thousand.
In particular, compared to the previous month, employment grew by 41 thousand units (+0.2%). The number of employed people - equal to 23 million 773 thousand - is higher than that of February 2023 by 351000 units (+1.5%).
