Istat, Italian GDP will grow by 0.7% in 2023. In 2023 there were two working days less than in '22.

The government estimate contained in the Nadef indicated growth of 0.8% for last year. After the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hamas, the Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti highlighted the risk of a slowdown in the economy and therefore of a revision to the decline in forecasts. The change in Italian GDP acquired for 2024, the one that would be obtained if economic growth remained zero in the four quarters of 2024, is equal to +0.1%.
