IVG in the Constitution: the law was promulgated this Saturday. Introduced in article 34 of the Constitution, this sentence makes France a pioneer in the world, with such a clear reference to abortion in its fundamental text.

A choice contrary to several countries where the right to abortion is declining, such as in the United States or in Eastern Europe. In the wake of the promulgation of the law, Minister of Justice Éric Dupond-Moretti hailed on X “the end of a fight in France, and the beginning of aFight in Europe. For all women.”
