J Mascis makes the guitars roar and Alain Bashung comes back to life with a new track. On the program this week, the new solo album from the leader of Dinosaur Jr and a new anthology by Bashung, 15 years after his death.
The only certified guitar hero of the grunge generation was a traveling companion of Nirvana and the Pixies and a pioneer of sorts, even if he escaped significant notoriety. The novelty of this anthology is the presence of something previously unpublished.
