European Union annual inflation was 3.1% in January 2024, down from 3.4% in December. A year earlier the rate was 10%. This was announced by Eurostat. (HANDLE) The euro area's annual inflation rate stood at 2,8% on January 1, 2024. This was down from 2.9% on December 1, and 8.6% a year earlier.
