The 71st edition of the San Sebastián Film Festival will be held from September 22 to 30. The winner of the Best Actor award will be announced at the opening gala on September 22.
The award is the third given to the actor, after Carmen Maura in 2008 and Javier Bardem in 2013. The actor is married to the actress Penelope Cruz, who will also receive an award at this year's festival. He has more than 50 films to his name, including No Country for Old Men and El Clasico.
