Ukraine has collected preliminary information on over 128,000 victims of war crimes. War crimes include deliberate attacks on civilians, cultural sites or medical institutions, torture and deportations.

"We are creating a support system because no government body can provide for so many victims," says Veronika Plotnikova, head of the coordination center for support for victims and witnesses of the Kiev Prosecutor's Office. The number of victims is growing every day, she says, adding that the Register of Preliminary Investigations has information on the victims.
